Here is a fun game we play. We write 100 words about a prompt, and then our friends do the same. Here’s the prompt:
Here is what I wrote:
She stood out from the crowd because unlike the other teenagers in the room, Kiren stood with shoulders thrown back, and chin tilted just a bit up. The others watched for social cues, but not her. And that’s what made her interesting. Kiren could have been a victim, but she wasn’t she stood her ground, the survivor.
He wanted to learn that too. That ‘you can all jump off a cliff for all I care’ attitude. He had everything, and worried over more. What people wore, what people said, what people thought. Kiren never worried about any of that. Ever.
