WonHundred Word Wednesday

Prompt: Under normal circumstances he would speak his mind, but with a gun against his head

gun

What I wrote:

Under normal circumstances he would speak his mind, but with a gun against his head, that seemed a foolhardy option, even though she would never shoot him. He could see it in her eyes, lipid pools of dark brown, like the mountain loam after the frost melted. He could spend all his life loosing himself in those eyes. If she would let him. I will find a way to convince you I am not the enemy. I am not the demon you think I am. So he stood waiting for her to lower the gun. “I don’t scare that easy.”

Happy almost Valentines Day!
