Prompt: Spider-webs caught at her face, a sign that no one had been there yet…

Here’s what I wrote:

Spider-webs caught at her face, a sign that no one had been there yet. A shiver ran up her spine. No one likes spider webs, the spiders are around here somewhere. They were, watching from the depths of shadows, their faceted eyes boring into her, waiting to strike. Some things are worth the risk. She reminded herself. Deep in the caves waited the Ice dragon, and the chance to finish the task Ormarr had given her. Not that I can get my happiness any more. But I promised. Rage lapped at her, heating her blood, nothing would keep it alive.
