WonHundred Word Wednesday

The prompt says:The old house, with its wildly overgrown garden was secretive, silent

I created this:

The old house, with its wildly overgrown garden, was silent, secretive. Cloistered between the embracing snow embankments contrasted against clear glass walls rising to the sky. A strange ancient archway rose over a portico complete with stone angels and devils fighting on the frieze. That too contrasted with the uninviting cinder-block walls encircling the far reaches of the snow drifts, whether to keep them in or out she could not tell. And yet inside that great glass wall, fog clung to the windows, and large fans turned over green lush growth. The kind that never made its home in Alaska.
