WonHundred word Wednesday- “Would you like Fries with that?”

Peace creeps in at the strangest times, in the strangest places. And so college came, a move to a new state and climate. That’s not to say my anxiety left me. It didn’t. I packed it up and toted it along. My night-terrors trailed along too. But there in the middle of the Dorm, a red-haired angel met me. She grinned, and accepted me in a moment. No words needed.

So we sat at the one restaurant in town, after our mothers left, ordering lunch out on our own. “Would you like fries with that?” the waitress asked.

                “Absolutely.”

Come see what my friends wrote for our prompt!
